A burglar has broken into sandwich shop in Leicester city centre.
An intruder smashed in through a front window and entered La Baguette in Granby Street.
Bernadette Holmes, who has run the business since 2005, said the police told her they discovered the break-in last night.

Ms Holmes said: "The person or persons got in by smashing one of the front windows of the shop.
"I have not been to the shop yet but a member of staff told me the place had been searched and stuff was thrown onto the floor.
"We are not sure what might have been taken but they left it in a mess."
She said the member of staff arrived at 7am this morning to see the mess.
Ms Holmes said: "She called me and the police and we eventually opened at about 9am.
"We are open for business but are obviously trying to catch up.
"This is the last thing we need and the disruption caused is as bad as anything.
"But we will carry on and not be beaten by things like this. It is very disappointing though."

Ms Holmes said the shop had been broken into once in the 12 years she had run the business and that was through the back door.
She said: "On that occasion they took the till and the float but we are not sure what has been taken this time.
"I am just glad nobody is hurt. On the grand scale of things this is an inconvenience but a big one."
Leicestershire Police said they were investigating the break-in.
A police spokeswoman said: "We are investigating a burglary at a premises in Granby Street which is believed to have taken place between 6pm on Saturday (18 March) and 5am on Monday (20 March).
"If anyone has any information they should call us on 101."
