A homeowner has posted CCTV footage online of a man appearing to try car doors on his driveway in the early hours.
John Gillespie posted onto Facebook his short video of the man on his drive in Ravenstone, near Coalville, at 2.44am.
The video, which was put online on Tuesday night, has so far been viewed more than 20,000 times.
Mr Gillespie said he saw the man trying the car doors after going through his CCTV outside his home.
"I can't believe the cheek of this person," he said.
"You can quite clearly see that he is trying the doors of all the cars to see if they are open.
"He might be looking for somewhere warm to sleep the night, but I doubt it very much."

Mr Gillespie, who runs a retail consultancy business in Leicester city centre, said he bought his CCTV system off the internet.
He said: "There have been some low-level thefts around the village for a while now so I invested in my own system.
"I was checking the footage from the other night when I spotted the man walking about trying the door handles of all the cars in the drive I share with my neighbour.
"I put the video on Facebook and it has been shared thousands of times.
"I am reassured by this amazing reaction. This is a village community and we stick together.
"I posted the footage to warn everyone and I went out knocking on doors to warn all my neighbours."

Mr Gillepsie said the man can be seen moving a pair of ladders that belong to him during the video footage.
Mr Gillespie said: "I found them stuffed in my neighbour's bushes. I moved them back to a safe place."
The 42-year-old said he had called the policeand given them a copy of the CCTV footage.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said they received a report of someone trying to break into a vehicle in Ravenstone, near Coalville.
