Police arrested a man in a city centre business on suspicion of rape.
.Officers detained the man, who is in his 20s, as he arrived at the shop in Granby Street around 9am.
A number of officers remained at the scene searching the property.
In a statement, Leicestershire Police said: "Officers have executed a warrant at an address in Granby Street, Leicester.
"A man in his 20's has been arrested on suspicion of rape and is currently in custody. Inquiries remain ongoing."
